Through buying at prices significantly higher than world market level at a long-term purchase guarantee, we are able to help create permanent income for coffee farmers. In tandem, GEO funds projects to improve community healthcare and local infrastructure to create sustainable, long term improvement. By viewing the forest as a source of income, coffee farmers and their communities are incentivized to protect and conserve the rainforest for generations to come.
